Celia James has a Masters degree in Interior Design and has more than 25 years of design and build experience. She is a former Director of the British Institute of Interior Design and teaches interior design part-time at the well respected Inchbald School of Design.
Capable of designing in both traditional and contemporary styles her experience extends to all aspects of domestic design, retail showrooms and restaurants. Her strengths are resolving the challenges of multi-functional spaces and bathroom and kitchen design. Another service is the provision of illustrated concepts to budget for marketing purposes for property developers.
For people who have the inspiration for transforming rooms in their own homes but lack the expertise and confidence to tackle the task, one day workshops, entitled Room in a Day are run by Celia with her colleagues Adrienne Chinn and Alison Payne-Baader at various venues around England.
