Celia James holds a Masters degree in Interior Design and has more than 25 years of design and build experience. She is currently the International Director of the British Interior Design Association and teaches interior design part time at the Inchbald School of Design.
Capable of designing in both traditional and contemporary styles her experience extends to all aspects of domestic design, retail showrooms and restaurants. Her strengths are resolving the challenges of multi-functional spaces and bathroom and kitchen design. Another service is the provision of illustrated concepts to budget for marketing purposes for property developers.
For people who have the inspiration for transforming rooms in their own homes but lack the expertise and confidence to tackle the task, one day workshops are run by Celia and her colleague Alison Payne-Baader from a location close to the Chelsea Design Centre.
