A series of one day workshops are to be held at a selection of venues around England when you can bring your ideas for a room you would like to re-decorate and learn how to create a scheme that you can follow through to completion.

Many people have their own ideas for the decoration of their homes and yet they find it difficult to bridge the gap between those initial thoughts and figuring out how to complete the job. As designers with vast experience in this field Celia James, and her colleagues Adrienne Chinn and Alison Payne-Baader can guide participants to realise their interior schemes. They will discuss the practicalities as well as the possibilities of your plans and help you to visualize your concepts. You will leave with a layout for your room drawn to scale, a style file illustrating the type of furniture and fabrics you might use, ideas for lighting, window treatments and colours. They will also discuss where to look for the elements you need, how to purchase them and possible ways to find a technical team to make it all happen.

Celia, Adrienne and Alison are London based practising Interior Designers with many years’ experience in the field. They all have experience of teaching at London’s top Interior Design Schools: Celia and Alison are current tutors for the respected Inchbald School of Design and Adrienne has taught at KLC design school so they are able to explain to people outside the field how it all works.

The workshops begin at 9.45am and finish at 4.45pm with a break for lunch. The day will finish with a brief one-to-one for each participant to discuss how they will move forward with their project.

The cost of a workshop is from £115 +VAT (depending on the location) payable in advance online at www.adriennechinn.co.uk or by cheque.
